Kittens In The Yard

This batch of kittens have been born, but we found out that there is another stray cat pregnant and due any moment as well! So that means a second round of kittens for this family! Too bad I don't like cats....

Cops and Cemeteries

This is the cemetery where the cop scared me.

There was a parking lot on the other side of the street that I had parked in.

I walked across the street and started taking pictures. 

Then I hopped back in my car, took a few pictures of the inside of the car (I know I'm weird) and saw this cop sitting behind me.

I thought I must be trespassing or something, so I backed up and pulled away.

I'm sorry this story wasn't more exciting (yes that really was the climax), but for some reason I felt really bad about it (I think my guilt sense is overworking itself lately) and it scared me.

Loving Things Through

God's mercy has been so real to me lately. I'm going through some major changes in life, but I know that he's going to take care of me. It's amazing to have to wake up every day and immediately lay all my troubles and problems down at His feet, but I'm happy to have a God that comforts, and a God that provides.

Learning how to get along by myself, without the help of the person that's always been there for me has been difficult. I don't like being alone, especially at times like this, and sometimes it can be hard to deal with painful emotions.

It's a constant, minute to minute battle, but I feel like I'm getting through things and I'm having victory. I know that better things are in store for me and my future and that only gives me hope and expectancy.

Thank you God for all that you do for me, your blessings, and most especially your comfort. I'm so glad that I know you and that I am your child.

Boating

The sun was just beautiful yesterday and to soak and it all up we went to the 

lake.

It was good to be around friends and to be around people who make me laugh. I'm finding that I need that a lot lately : ) 

The things that help me most are sunshine, beautiful days, driving in the country, singing songs, and taking pictures.

I love anything having to do with strawberries.  In fact, I just had a bowl of them mixed with blueberries for breakfast! (Which reminds me that I never finished my coffee...whoops!) But these little girls make having a strawberry party even more fun!

Why I Love To Knit

There are many good reasons why I love to knit. It's relaxing, makes me feeling like I'm doing something productive while watching a movie, and I love the cosy feel! But this hat is just another reason (among the many not listed here) reasons that I love knitted items.  Do you knit or crochet?
